Richard Awdeh, MD, Chief Executive Officer, CheckedUp
Richard Awdeh, MD, Chief Executive Officer of CheckedUp, is a dedicated medical technology entrepreneur & highly regarded practicing ophthalmologist who founded CheckedUp in 2012 to create a pathway of revolutionizing the way doctors care for their patients and empowering patients’ decisions through point of care education.
In addition to his work at CheckedUp, Dr. Awdeh continues his surgical practice at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, as a Cornea-Refractive Surgeon and Professor. He also serves as Chairman of the FDA Dermatologic and Ophthalmic Drugs Advisory Committee. In 2010, he founded a medical technology incubator, Cirle, that develops state of the art medical devices for use in ophthalmic surgeries. The company maintains a robust research and development pipeline and developed a 3-dimensional surgical navigation system for eye surgery, which has recently been registered with the U.S. FDA.

Chris O'Toole, Chief Partnership Officer, Health Monitor Network

Chris O'Toole has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceuticalsindustry and service businesses. He is Senior Vice President of Alliances and Partnerships with Health Monitor Network, leading collaborations and relationships with partner medical societies and patient organizations.
Chris was President of a division of Quintiles, and Vice President of Marketing for the healthcare branch of Pearson PLC, a multinational publishing and education company. He was President of Avant Healthcare Communications and a member of the leadership team of its parent, DWA Healthcare Communications Group. In 2006, Chris cofounded a pharmaceuticals business and product development consultancy, Nine-TZ Healthcare Ventures. His focus was patient engagement and advocacy. Previously he held global marketing and sales positions with SmithKline and Fisons Pharmaceuticals in Europe and moved to the United States in 1989 to join Schering-Plough.
Mike Collette, Founder and CEO, PatientPoint
Mike Collette founded PatientPoint and served as CEO until 2012. He then served as chairman of the board for the next four years prior to stepping back in to the CEO role in 2017. Mike also serves as Executive-in-Residence at CincyTech, helping other entrepreneurs turn transformational ideas into high-growth technology companies. Mike started his working career in Brand Management at Procter & Gamble in their Health & Personal Care Division. Collette is a graduate of Dartmouth College where he majored in engineering.
Carlo DiMarco, Executive Vice President Corporate Development, Health Media Network
Carlo DiMarco is an experienced, cross functional leader who has developed and operated successful and beloved specialized media platforms for Viacom and Altice USA/Cheddar News. Carlo’s experience includes a comprehensive background in strategic partnerships, digital content distribution strategy, guiding product & tech operations, as well as, affiliate, brand, and consumer marketing.
Carlo has over 20 years of hands-on experience working closely with high level distribution and strategic partners to design and build unique and coveted platforms. Carlo received his Bachelor’s Degree from Brooklyn College and earned his MBA in Marketing from Pace University in downtown Manhattan.
John Kenyon, Vice President & Managing Director, Targeted Media Health
John is a seasoned business leader who has more than three decades of experience in hands-on strategic marketing and sales management in the healthcare industry. John is a recognized pioneer in the point of care space and is known for his passion, strategic thinking, and overall creativity. As Vice President and Managing Director of Meredith’s Targeted Media Health division, John oversees all aspects of business development, strategic partnerships and sales. He and his team consistently deliver outstanding POC program performance resulting in extraordinarily high customer satisfaction levels.
John has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing, from Grand Valley State University/Seidman College of Business.
David Linetsky, SVP Life Sciences, Phreesia
David Linetsky is responsible for cultivating Phreesia’s partnerships with Life Sciences companies, supporting them in the development of healthcare products that deliver value and engage patients in their care. He has worked at Phreesia for more than a decade and held key leadership roles, including Vice President of Analytics and Insights, and Vice President of Finance.
Prior to joining Phreesia, David worked in academia as a researcher and instructor in the fields of biotechnology, mathematics and philosophy. David holds a BS in mathematics from the University of Alberta. He also earned a master’s degree and was a PhD candidate in mathematics and logic at the City University of New York.
Nate Lucht, President and CEO, InStep Health
Nate brings innovative thinking, diverse industry experience, and unique perspective to the evolving world of point of care marketing. In a career spanning more than twenty years, Nate has held a variety of management and senior leadership roles within IRI, Boston Consulting Group, and General Mills. With his robust background in strategy and data analytics, Nate has played an integral role in InStep Health’s expansion into digital channels and leading the company’s growth in the pharmacy and HCP sectors. He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota and earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
Wills Robbins, Founder/CEO Constant Media
Wills Robbins is the Founder and CEO of Constant Media, a leading provider of point of care media. Since its inception in 2011, Constant Media has provided innovative award winning POC programs to a wide range of pharmaceutical companies.
The patient education programs he’s developed in conjunction with health care practices main goal are to enhance the patient/care giver dialogue, improving health literacy and outcomes. They have also proven to provide strong ROI results for the pharmaceutical brands, enabling Constant Media to experience significant growth since 2011.
Craig Mait, President and Chief Revenue Officer, Mesmerize
Craig Mait is President and Chief Revenue Officer at Mesmerize. He earned his J.D. from New York Law School, and practiced law for 7 years at Mait, Wang, & Simmons in New York before joining Mesmerize in 2009. Craig leads the combined point-of-care and out-of-home sales team and plays a vital role in developing strategic business partnerships and joint ventures. In his free time, Craig enjoys running, going to the beach, and spending time with his two children. He can always be counted on for the best restaurant recommendations.
Ken Shultz, Senior Vice President of Audit Services at the Alliance for Audited Media
Ken Shultz has more than 34 years of experience providing verified metrics for news, magazine, B2B and point of care media.
As Senior Vice President of Audit Services at the Alliance for Audited Media, Ken works with media and advertising leaders to provide audit standards and procedures that meet the ever-changing assurance needs of the industry. Ken also heads AAM’s print audit team where he oversees the planning and execution of all audit programs for point of care, news and magazine media, ensuring that verified data reaches the market in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Ken graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, with a degree in Accounting/Business Management.
Victoria Summers, Associate Principal, ZS Associates
Victoria has over two decades of experience leading health care marketing strategy and data analytics programs. She has particular expertise in the areas of integrated DTC promotions and measurement, product launch planning, digital strategy, multi-channel strategy, peri-LOE strategy and point of care programs. Victoria has experience working in nearly all areas of health care ecosystem marketing including physician and health systems, medical schools, medical supplies, managed care plans, medical devices, OTC products and pharmaceutical products. At ZS, she is a leader in the Patient and Consumer Health Practice Area and co-authors the Point of Care Industry Report.
Victoria holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, a Group Benefits Associate certification from IFEBP, and a B.A. from the University of Iowa.
Don Vergara, Publisher, Remedy Health Media
As publisher of Remedy Health Media’s print-based point of care programs, Don is responsible for driving sales of condition specific HealthCentral Guides placed in high value physician office waiting rooms. Under Don’s leadership, the program has been expanded to offer digital Patient Support Center components on HealthCentral.com. Remedy has a 25-year history of point of care consumer health education expertise at pharmacy counters and in physician office waiting rooms.
With over 30 years of management experience, Vergara has a diverse background in healthcare marketing serving the biopharma, medical device, and consumer packaged goods industries in both print and digital platforms. Before joining Remedy, Don was on the launch team of Health Focus Media, a digital point of care company with a focus on Cardiology, Rheumatology and Neurology. He also co-launched Caring Today, America’s first and only magazine devoted to supporting the enormous Family Caregiver market and prior to that he spent nearly a decade in sales management at Lamaze Publishing and The Newborn Channel, delivering content for new moms and dads, 24 hours a day.
